CyclEffect Regenerative Ventures
Making a name for himself by developing what is considered by many one of the most advanced coal transition strategy in the US, J. Eric Mathis has been at the forefront of sustainability initiatives throughout the southeast with a specific focus on regenerative design and innovation. Serving as the Principle Architect of Innovation and Business Development for CyclEffect Regenerative Ventures, he is presently co-designing a series of Community Innovation Platforms that are engineered to breed local “circular-assets” within both the energy and agriculture sectors, Mr. Mathis is presently co-designing an agriculture/energy nexus strategy for the Great Appalachian Valley beginning in WV (energy) and his home state NC (agriculture). This bio-regional economy model is fueled in part by both Industrial Hemp and Bio-Fuels which functions synergistically as a catalyst for a broader biologically-based development strategy. His most recent social enterprises, both Bio-Regen Coop and the Institute for Regenerative Design and Innovation, play a central role in the development of this bio-regional strategy.
