I started farming 9 years ago and was fortunate to live and work on a large dry farm in Willow Creek California for 2 years. I started my own farm in Southern Oregon 4 years ago with dry farming being a focus. I established a 1 acre orchard and have been transition my annual production to consist of over 50% dry farmed. I water my garlic seed and other contract seeds. I am part of the Dry Farm Collaborative out of Oregon State University and am saving numerous varieties for the future trials of that group.
